About Me

Regina De Luca

My passion for traveling was born on my first trip to Italy at the age of nine. From then on, it was all about gathering travel brochures and dreaming of exotic places. After University, I joined American Express Travel in Venezuela, interviewing and recruiting travel agents, which lead to some FAM trips, visiting many Caribbean Islands.

Soon I decided for a career change, moved to London, and started my career in hospitality. I first secured a job as a contractor in Bridge Travels where, based on travel trends, I chose and contracted hotels and sightseeing tours in 52 destinations in Europe & the Middle East. Heathrow airport became my second home.

Curious about the then up-and-coming online travel platforms, I moved on to work for companies such as Viator.com, Hotels.com, Expedia, Radisson Hotels, Lastminute.com, and Kuoni, defining sales strategies and type of travel services for e-commerce distribution.

I have been fortunate enough as to visit 61 countries and thousands of cities around the world, and lived in Caracas, London, Marbella, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Jerez, and Kathmandu. Now I made of Zurich, my home. I fluently speak Spanish, Italian, English, and basic French.

Riri Travels is the result of over thirty years’ experience and a passion for travelling.
